EyeCare Partners is seeking an innovative, passionate leader to transform our approach to data analytics in general with focus on developing strategy and implementing the data governance standards, data engineering and analytics solutions for the organization. The primary responsibility of this role would be to ensure our data is accurate, accessible and secure. Other key responsibilities are to modernize our data & analytics program/platforms with key business input, facilitate data driven decision making with advance analytics & self-serve reporting capabilities, evaluate/implement technologies to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of data/analytics platforms. The leader will be an effective communicator and business partner, strong enterprise data analytics strategist, project management experience, and deep understanding of how to operationalize data science efforts. Key stakeholders include business leads of Operations, Finance & Accounting, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Merchandising, Marketing and Revenue Cycle Management.
The leader will be managing a blended resource team (employees, managed services vendors and on demand contractors).
Key Accountabilities:
- Designing and building the infrastructure and systems that support data collection, storage, and analysis
- Establish policies, procedures and standards for data management and ensure that these governance models are adhered to throughout the organization.
- Expert ability in implementing change within an organization, ensuring understanding, participation, and ownership.
- Partners closely with the Business functions to understand and support the development of product roadmaps and ensure alignment of the delivery center's operations roadmaps and investment.
- Advanced ability to deliver sustainable organizational changes on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage
- Lead implementation, enhancement and ongoing support of large-scale Data & Analytics programs including overall program planning, vendor management, requirement management, development, testing, implementation and post-rollout support & maintenance by collaborating with functional leaders
- Drive enterprise strategy for data engineering, data management, data governance, data integrations, and enterprise reporting with close partnership to enterprise and solution architects across IT.
- Productize our data analytics and data science offerings, prioritize offerings that can drive value for the organization, build data roadmap to ensure proper application of enterprise data.
- Own the data vetting processes, leading the effort to create systems for vetting new data sets and ensuring quality of regularly ingested data sets
- Identify tools needed to expand data literacy & proficiency
- Lead development of innovative approaches to data acquisition, storage and distribution
- Manage D&A platforms including BI & analytical databases/appliances, data visualization, data ingestion, data management and advanced analytics
- Develop advanced capabilities in artificial Intelligence (AI) and direct the effective integration of predictive analytics and machine learning into the analytics approach
- Enable self-service analytics to empower end-users to make timely data driven decisions via sophisticated reporting and visualization platforms
- Proactively develop and scale talent, monitor for and champion new delivery approaches, and advancing ideas and culture shifts that accelerate cost-efficient delivery of the product vision
- Engineer, enhance and operate solutions that are secure and reliable, but simple and intuitive
- Engage, collaborate, and communicate effectively with variety of stakeholder to innovate, modernize, and deliver the services
