Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Director - Global Services (GS) Transformation Management within the Johnson & Johnson Global Services organization. The position will be located in New Brunswick NJ or Pennsylvania with considerations given to other Global Services hubs for the ideal candidate.

There are more than 4400 employees in Human Resources, Finance, Procurement and Strategy and Business Services (SBS). These employees work for Johnson & Johnson Global Services in key service centers located in Bangalore, Manila, Suzhou, Prague, Bogota and Tampa, as well as in local country-based hubs.
As a member of the Strategy & Business Services team, the Senior Director will be primarily responsible for advancing the transformation capability and leading teams and direct reports to shape and deliver major transformation programs. The Senior Director will report into the Vice President, Enterprise Business Services & Transitions and will be responsible for leading direct and indirect teams. They will play a pivotal role in Transformations, Scope Expansion and Acquisitions & Divestitures (A&D).
Tasks/Duties/Responsibilities
Transformations:
- Delivering initiatives and coaching Transformation leaders across Transformative programs.
- Shaping the vision and defining outcomes, developing a clear roadmap to achieve, and mobilizing a global team to execute on 3E commitments of Credo stakeholder experience, effectiveness and efficiency benefits.
- Accountable for program delivery including team leadership, budget and value realization, governance, stakeholder management, solutions design, and implementation partner management.
- Provide leadership to ensure an effective team and high level of talent with competencies and skills to execute with impact.
- Lead a team whose responsibilities will be to develop strategies and transform the way we work and operationalize the delivery of New Services across GS.
- Interact with senior leaders from multiple functions to establish new service intake engagement approach, objectives, team structure, and timing.
- Provide input to and oversee strategic plans for the design of services, including expanding the Scope Expansion capabilities across GS.
- Shape service delivery strategy and execution across Acquisition & Divestiture transactions for Global Services delivering capability maturity, project execution, developing and implementing strategy and methodologies.
- Partner across BU Finance and key enterprise partners to mature and implement a sustainable value realization framework and place it in use across the business. Their direct report will provide run state service infrastructure with a continual improvement lens.
- Create a service-oriented mindset for team and establish a set of values that promote achievement, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Provide strategic partnership and leadership across the GS SBS Extended Leadership Team (XLT) to shape strategy and make connections across Strategy & Operations
- Embrace and lead a culture of inclusiveness and multi-cultural engagement through coaching and feedback to peers and the broader community in Global Services in alignment with the J&J's Leadership imperatives
- Provide leadership, direction, coaching and feedback to the matrixed team
- Lead talent initiatives to develop a strong pipeline of global, diverse leaders within GS.

- In concert with the VP, GS Transition Management, lead efforts to build long-term vision of the team, including development of organization structure, role definition and leveling and evaluation of current talent across the team

- A minimum of 10 years of Transformation/A&D or relevant experience and BA/BS Degree are required. Masters level degree is preferred.
- Previous people management experience is required. Experience in organizational design and/or building new capabilities is preferred.
- Proven track record in successfully managing large-scale transformation programs
- Strong Financial acumen, including experience in effectively managing program budgets and driving value realization
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong leadership presence, capable of inspiring and leading teams
- Proven People Leadership Skills to include leading large organizations through transformational change, attracting, mentoring and retaining top talent and creating an environment that fosters excellence, collaboration and teamwork is required.
- The ability to demonstrate a strong understanding and appreciation of cross-functional processes and insights
- A mastery and a proven track record of leading through global, competing complexities.
- Experience setting and executing winning strategy is required along with the demonstrated ability to interact effectively and decisively with business leaders at the Functional Vice President, and Company Group Chair levels, as well as all lower levels in the organization.
- Excellent communication skills; able to network, interface and influence at all levels of the organization, cross sector, cross-functionally and globally is required.
- Ability to operate autonomously and make quick decisions and thrive in high-visibility, fast moving environment
- Track record of driving business results - identifies and capitalizes on opportunities, identifies risks/issues, assesses implications, formulates recommendations, and drives sound decisions that deliver results
- This position requires a high degree of independent judgment. The incumbent is expected to operate based on general guidance from senior business management regarding priorities and imperatives. Expected to run the organization to deliver against commitments, escalating issues on an exception basis.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
