Job DescriptionAs the Senior Director of Learning and Development, you’ll be responsible for building sustainable learning programs across multiple business areas
You’ll build a culture of continuous learning, driving leadership development at all levels and aligning learning initiatives with the Best Buy’s strategic objectives
In this role, you’ll oversee the design, implementation and management of comprehensive learning programs that enhance employee performance and support Best Buy’s long-term success.This role is remote eligible, which means you would work virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location.What you’ll doWork collaboratively with senior business leaders and human resources to understand the capabilities required to achieve business goalsDevelop and implement comprehensive outcome-oriented learning and development programs that align with enterprise strategic goalsShape and develop learning strategies based on business prioritiesDefine learning metrics within the team and with stakeholders across the areas they supportDevelop internal and external partnerships to advance enterprise learning goalsManage learning governance to prioritize learning investments across enterprise programs and run the business trainingBasic qualifications10 years of experience in human resources, organizational development, sales enablement, or change management5 years of people leadership experience5 years of cross-functional stakeholder managementProven track record of developing vision and implementing enterprise strategy at scalePreferred qualifications7 years of experience leading an organization’s learning strategy and design3 years of experience teaching or facilitating in front of an audience both virtually and in personAbility to use data and analytics to inform strategy, create measurement, and shape the narrativeWhat’s in it for youWe’re committed to helping our people thrive at work and at home
