The Senior Director of Content Services leads the daily operations and fulfillment of Naylor’s Content team. This leader will oversee the implementation of new business, ensure smooth workflow processes, and manage a team of content professionals. This role also manages relationships with freelance and contract resources, ensuring that all content meets the highest standards of quality and timeliness. As a player/coach, this individual will take a hands-on role with a portfolio of key accounts as required, directly contributing to their success while also mentoring team members. This role will provide excellent internal and external customer service, adhere to deadlines, and ensure relevant content quality for all Naylor products and services is best in class.
Responsibilities:- Manage workloads for the Content Services group, ensuring tasks are prioritized and completed on time.
- Oversee fulfillment of all Content Services offerings, including sponsored content, technical editing and Communication Gap Analysis reports, guaranteeing delivery of high-quality content that meets client needs.
- Supervise the implementation of new business initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with client expectations.
- Lead freelance and contractor management, including hiring, onboarding and quality control.
- Supervise a team of content strategy directors, editors, and content specialists, providing training, mentoring and ongoing support.
- Act as a content lead as required for key accounts, managing the relationship and delivering direct contributions to ensure client satisfaction.
- Ensure operational efficiency by regularly reviewing processes, making adjustments as needed to optimize team performance.
- Work closely with other departments to standardize and optimize processes that support the growth and delivery of member communications products and services.
- Monitor and evaluate KPIs to ensure Content Services are aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee resource allocation, ensuring that the team is adequately supported to meet project demands.
- Manage project-level P&L budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and success.
- Promote collaboration across teams to ensure seamless delivery of new business and ongoing services.
- Have a minimum of five years of relevant work experience in an editorial role that required project and team leadership, excellent customer service and attention to detail.
- Demonstrate expertise in a range of editorial and administrative systems.
- Work independently while still maintaining strong ties with the team and throughout organization.
- Exhibit strong leadership and mentorship skills, being able to share information and educate others.

- Apply a variety of software knowledge to make all files compatible with production standards. Software includes, but is not limited to, Microsoft 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams), Adobe Suite (InCopy, Photoshop, Acrobat) and Slack.
