Overview:
The Senior Director of Operations Training & Development will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive training program for Onsite Women's Health field operations. The main focus of the training program will be to ensure that all field staff, including site coordinators, mammography technologists, ultrasound technologists, area managers, and regional directors, receive the necessary training to perform their roles effectively. This position is essential for ensuring all staff members have the required skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care and comply with industry standards. Additionally, the director will oversee the workflow education team and Onsite University.
Responsibilities:
• Training Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive training strategy for all operational staff, focusing on clinical workflows, technology use, and compliance with
industry standards.
• Program Development: Design, deliver, and evaluate training programs, ensuring alignment with company goals and industry best practices.
• Team Leadership: Lead the Workflow and Systems Training team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management to deliver effective training.
• Needs Assessment: Conduct regular needs assessments to identify skill.
• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with operational, clinical, and logistics teams to identify training needs and develop targeted educational solutions. Facilitate communication between departments to ensure alignment on training initiatives and operational goals. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization.
• Compliance: Ensure all training programs meet regulatory requirements and industry standards, maintaining documentation and training records as needed. Stay current with advancements in breast imaging technology and practices to continually enhance training content.
• Evaluation: Implement metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
• Budget Management: Manage the training budget, allocating resources efficiently to meet training objectives.
• Onsite University Management:
o Oversee the Onsite University program, ensuring it meets the educational needs of radiologic technologists pursuing certification to perform mammograms.
o Collaborate with educational institutions and certification bodies to maintain program standards and relevance.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Healthcare Administration, Education, Radiologic Technology, etc.).
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in training or operations within a healthcare or imaging organization, focusing on breast imaging preferred.
• Proven experience in leadership roles and developing educational programs.
• Registered Technologist (RT) with ARRT certification in Mammography or equivalent credentials preferred.
• Additional relevant certifications in training or education are a plus.
