Position Overview:
The Senior Director of Sales will play a crucial role in expanding ToughBuilt Industries' market share in the construction industry. This individual will be responsible for selling our products, establishing and nurturing relationships with key accounts, and driving revenue growth in North America. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outside sales, a deep understanding of construction tools, and experience working within big box retail.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the Southern California region.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and cold calling.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at construction companies, contractors, distributors, and retailers.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of ToughBuilt products.
- Collaborate with the internal sales team to provide excellent customer service and support.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and analysis for management review.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- 5 years of outside sales experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of construction tools and accessories, with experience in selling to construction professionals and retailers.
- Familiarity with Lowe's or Home Depot's inner workings, including their procurement processes and vendor requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
