Senior Director of Product Management and Planning
The Micron Data Center Storage Group is seeking a dynamic Senior Director of Product Management and Planning to lead our SSD Product Line Management (PLM) and Technical Product Management (TPM) teams. This role is pivotal in managing products with quarterly revenue of $1B and will work closely with product development, sales, FAEs, manufacturing operations, and supply chain teams to establish and execute the vision for Micron's data center solid state drives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage product revenue and margins through strategic business plans, quarterly pricing decisions, and product cost optimizations.
- Develop market strategies and product segmentation to drive differentiated product positioning.
- Identify new target markets and prioritize features and functionalities to meet customer expectations.
- Create Landing Zones and Market Requirements documents, and negotiate features with target customers.
- Collaborate closely with NAND and SSD development teams to deliver timely, high-quality products.
- Ensure effective communication with cross-functional teams.
- Lead long-term business forecasting efforts.
- Develop and implement product training for sales and qualification teams involved in data center SSD products.
- Possess a passion for excellence with the ability to inspire others to the highest standards through leading by example.
Professional Experience/Qualifications:
- Demonstrated educational or professional experience to qualify for a senior leadership position - typically this will include a degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or Computer Science, an MBA is a plus.
- A deep understanding of Enterprise and Hyperscale data center storage markets, including familiarity with server and storage product interfaces such as PCIe and Ethernet.
- Extensive leadership experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Knowledge of semiconductor and storage products, particularly flash and NAND components and subsystems.
- A clear vision and the ability to lead and drive improvements throughout the organization.
- Product Experience: 10+ years of product management experience, with a track record of delivering highly successful and innovative products.

San Jose or Folsom, CA.
The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is: $211,500.00 - $370,000.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
