DESCRIPTION
As a dynamic leader within our organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our projects and initiatives through effective leadership, strategic planning, and innovative approaches to training and onboarding. Your responsibilities will encompass leading and managing project managers and instructional designers, as well as sourcing and implementing new technologies to enhance our training and onboarding methodologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage a team of project managers and instructional designers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the successful execution of projects and the development of high-quality training materials.
2. Client and Internal Associate Training and Onboarding: Oversee the training, onboarding, and certification processes for both client associates and internal team members, ensuring alignment with project objectives and organizational goals.
3. Needs Analysis and Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct needs analyses and design innovative training solutions and onboarding strategies that leverage the latest technologies and best practices.
4. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior client staff and internal team members, communicating project direction, priorities, and status updates effectively.
5. Performance Analysis and Risk Management: Monitor project performance and analyze progress and risks, proactively identifying and addressing challenges to ensure successful project outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.
6. Continuous Improvement: Drive the continuous improvement of training and onboarding programs, incorporating feedback from stakeholders, and leveraging new technologies to enhance effectiveness and relevance.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments to coordinate project activities, manage resources, and ensure alignment with project timelines and objectives.
8. Technology Implementation: Source and implement new technologies and tools to improve training and onboarding approaches, staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our programs remain cutting-edge.
9. Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, work breakdown structures, and progress reports, to ensure transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
10. Change Management and Stakeholder Satisfaction: Employ change management methodologies to anticipate stakeholder needs and mitigate potential resistance, while also ensuring regular communication and satisfaction among all project participants.
11. Quality Assurance: Establish critical paths, milestones, and delivery dates, and review client deliverables to ensure they meet acceptance criteria and align with project objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
+ 5 plus years Instructional Design
+ 1 plus years leadership experience
+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
+ Strong writing, editing and proofreading skills; attention to detail
+ Experience with training platforms: LMS, Genially, Microsoft Adobe Cloud
+ Strong computer skills and ability to work with MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
+ Expert knowledge of technical software concepts and an ability to quickly understand product functionality in the context of its business application.
+ Strong knowledge of rapid eLearning development tools such as Articulate, Storyline, etc.
+ Demonstrated experience with writing curriculum and developing training materials.
+ Ability to write and edit content, instructional text, audio scripts, and video scripts and to design interactive and engaging learning content.
+ Expert knowledge with learning management system requirements and best practices specific to course design.
+ Ability to research industry trends and innovations related to learning development.
+ Act as a team member on multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment with high expectations for quality.
+ Strong organizational skills to effectively assist in the management of multiple projects from inception to completion, adhering to deadlines, within budget and with high quality.
+ Self-starter; highly motivated; able to work with minimal supervision.
+ Proven ability to provide excellent customer service, and work with multiple levels of the organization from senior leaders to first level associates.
+ Flexibility to travel as needed.
