Senior Electrical Design Engineer

In this role, youll be at the forefront of designing and coordinating electrical aspects of our packaged systems, collaborating closely with Mechanical Engineering and Project Management to deliver solutions that exceed expectations.

In this role, youll be at the forefront of designing and coordinating electrical aspects of our packaged systems, collaborating closely with Mechanical Engineering and Project Management to deliver solutions that exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine electrical designs for packaged systems, including power distribution, control panel design, and controls development.
- Coordinate system designs with Mechanical Engineering and Project Managers, ensuring seamless integration.
- Create detailed submittals, production drawings, electrical schematics, panel drawings, and other system components following client and company specifications.
- Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) and assign part numbers to support Purchasing, Accounting, and Production departments.
- Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering Technologies, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, ideally AutoCAD Electrical, and experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of electronic controllers, instruments, field transmitters, and variable water volume pumping concepts.
- Knowledge of electrical power components and experience in their selection and sizing.
- 4+ years of experience with PLC programming and design.
