Welcome to DAS Technology Group; we are specialized recruiters for the RF/Microwave & Defense/Space Industry. We are working on behalf of our client who designs and deploys RF and Radar products for the next generation of radar used in a wide variety of exciting commercial and military/defense applications.
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineering to help with creating the electrical solution of our client's radar products. This role will be part of a growing, innovative product development team.
The ideal candidate has:
• Subsystem design, analysis, schematic capture, circuit board layout, prototyping, bring-up and
debugging, hardware bug tracking, functional verification and signal characterization, test and
support through production.
Required Skills
• 3 years of experience with designing and implementing of analog, digital or mixed-signal
circuit boards from concept through production using operational amplifiers, filters, and
transistors, analog to digital and digital to analog converters, power supply components, multi-GHz
Serdes, DRAM interfaces (DDR4), CAN, I2C, Ethernet, SPI, FPGAs, ASICs, and processors
• 3 years of experience with testing/troubleshooting/qualification techniques, signal integrity,
layout and grounding principles
• 3 years of experience with DFx (EMC, EMI, reliability, manufacturability, test, etc.)
• Experience working with Gigabit Ethernet PHY and 802.3af / at PoE circuitry
• Power system and circuit design techniques for DC/DC, AC/DC, and various topologies (buck,
boost, buck/boost, flyback, flybuck, et al)
• Experience in highspeed interface design: JESD, LVDS, multi gigabit Ethernet, USB etc.. Signal
integrity design and verification with the above buses are crucial to this position.
• Strong emphasis on full lifecycle development of new hardware systems -- not small incremental
updates to legacy hardware
• Strong understanding of computers, programming languages, scripting tools and automation (C/C, Python, Matlab, etc.)
• Ability to work in a fast paced, autonomously driven, and demanding start-up atmosphere
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Desired Skills & Experience
• Experience with RTOS, embedded systems
• Knowledge of networking and internetworking concepts and technologies (Ethernet OSI Layers
TCP/IP packet inspection and analysis, application protocols)
• Familiarity with Altium design suite or similar
• Wireless or Communications products experience is a strong plus
Additional Job Requirements:
• BS or MS in either Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of industry experience developing real-world products or systems
• Willingness / ability to travel occasionally for customer visits / supplier visits
• Self-motivated personality and ability to work independently as well as on a team
• Ability to multi-task between two or more projects
• Must be US Citizen
