DOTec Corp is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and guide our team in the successful completion of electrical engineering projects. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial design and planning to construction management and project closeout. This position requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet regulatory and quality standards.

• Design and Planning:
  • Develop comprehensive electrical engineering designs and plans for projects.
  • Collaborate with architects, urban planners, and other professionals to meet project requirements.
  • Review and approve detailed plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Site Assessment and Feasibility Studies:
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to evaluate project potential.
  • Analyze customer-supplied documentation to understand site conditions and constraints.
• Regulatory Compliance and Permitting:
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Prepare and submit necessary permits and related documentation.
• Cost Estimation and Budget Management (As Needed):
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates and manage project budgets.
  • Monitor expenses and propose value engineering solutions for cost efficiency.
• Construction Management and Supervision (As Needed):
  • Oversee construction activities to ensure adherence to design, safety standards, and schedules.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to maintain project timelines and quality.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
  • Identify project risks and develop strategies to mitigate delays and budget overruns.
  • Proactively address potential issues related to regulatory compliance.
• Project Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including drawings, reports, and correspondence.
  • Prepare progress reports and compile as-built documentation for final project handover.
• Client and Stakeholder Communication:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Provide regular updates on project status and address client concerns to ensure satisfaction.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required, with licensure in MO; additional states preferred.
• Proven experience managing complex electrical engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and building codes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, on-time results.
