Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of consulting Electrical Engineering experience.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) is required.
- Desired experience in Department of Defense design.
- Proficiency in supervising and managing projects of varying scales.
- Excellent leadership, supervisory, writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to produce comprehensive construction documents, including drawings, power system studies, and specifications.
- Proficiency in executing and overseeing designs, encompassing medium and low voltage AC/DC systems, single line diagrams, electrical plans, and equipment layout.
- Capability to execute and oversee both interior and exterior lighting design, ensuring compliance with IESNA requirements through footcandle calculations.
- Participation in client meetings and provision of engineering support throughout design and construction phases, including addressing AHJ comments, reviewing shop drawings, and responding to RFIs.
- Review of deliverables, including quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) throughout design and construction phases.
- Act as a technical resource for internal staff.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment (or demonstrate the capacity to develop such abilities).
- Strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical skills (or demonstrate the potential to develop such skills).
- Positive contributor to overall office and department goals, culture, and morale.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT.
- RCDD certification is a plus.
