L.J Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Senior Electrical Engineer. You'll be instrumental in designing, developing, and improving the range of magnetic components and collaborate closely with the manufacturing, quality, and R&D teams..
- Design and develop electrical systems and components, focusing on magnetic components such as transformers, inductors, and reactors
- Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications
- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering tasks
- Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support,
documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and
customer requirements - Perform detailed analyses to assess designs or applications, feasibility, cost, and
maintenance requirements - Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with
engineering design and performance specifications - Research and test manufacturing and assembly methods and materials
- Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make
recommendations to the maintenance crew
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Master's Degree is preferred
- Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer, ideally in the manufacturing sector, focusing on magnetic components
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
- Proficiency in CAD and other engineering design software
- Excellent problem-soling skills and the ability to think critically
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
