Position Summary:
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be instrumental in leading our engineering projects, focusing on FPGA and PCB design and layout for high-speed electronic circuits. This role encompasses the entire lifecycle of electronic systems, from design to implementation, requiring strong technical expertise, innovative problem-solving, and excellent communication skills. Your contributions will be pivotal in driving technical excellence and innovation within the Space/Defense sectors.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Proficiency in FPGA design (Verilog/System Verilog, IP Cores, Test Bench Development, Timing Closure).
- Expertise in PCB design including RF design, signal conditioning, and power distribution circuits.
- Strong experience in PCB layout (materials selection, board stack up) with knowledge of IPC standards.
- Familiarity with environmental testing methods (thermal, vibration, EMC/EMI).
- Experience with interface protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, RS-232, Ethernet).
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug electronic circuits and FPGA firmware.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Altium Designer
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
- Knowledge of the Linux operating system.
- Understanding of video formats (SDI, NTSC, PAL, HDMI, DVI, DisplayPort).
- Familiarity with Aerospace and Defense standards (DO-160, DO-254, MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-810).
