Your New Role: Senior Electrical Estimator
Are you tired of estimating roles that feel like just crunching numbers? At Petri Electric, as a Senior Electrical Estimator, you'll be pivotal to project success by preparing detailed and conceptual estimates using ConEst IntelliBid and Bluebeam software. You'll be the go-to person for analyzing project specifications and conducting electrical takeoffs. Collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders ensures that your estimations shape project outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and early project concepts, conducting electrical takeoffs.
- Use ConEst IntelliBid and Bluebeam software to prepare both detailed and conceptual project estimates.
- Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness in project estimations.
- Maintain and manage digital records of estimates and project documents.
- Offer early-stage cost assessments to guide the direction of project development.

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical estimating.
- Demonstrated expertise in both detailed and conceptual electrical estimation is a key asset.
- Strong proficiency with ConEst IntelliBid and Bluebeam software, with potential training offered for candidates experienced in similar estimating tools.
- Willingness to obtain and maintain an electrical license as required for the role.
- A positive attitude, enthusiasm, empathy, active listening, and strong interpersonal skills are essential to thrive in this position.
