The first commercial application of the Nuro Driver is autonomous goods delivery with our custom, electric, zero-occupant vehicles in partnership with some of the most recognized brands in the world including Uber and FedEx.About the RoleEnable and optimize the use of new sensors, embedded controllers and relevant electrical components on autonomous robots or vehicle platformsDesign algorithms to control robot functions and perform processing on sensor dataCollaborate closely with hardware and software engineers during the definition, design, and verification phasesParticipate in hands-on vehicle bringup, prototyping, testing, and debugging on multiple robots or vehicle platformsWork closely with other Nuro autonomy software teams and OEM vendors to integrate embedded software into the self driving software stack and manage firmware release processes.About YouStrong C programming skillsGood computer science fundamentals, e.g

or Ph.D in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering , or closely related field5+ years of relevant industry experienceExperience with real-time OS and real-time applicationsExperience with ARM-based SOC architectureExperience with device driver development.Experience with CAN, SPI and Networking protocols.At Nuro, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package
For this position, the reasonably expected base pay range is between $152,000 and $228,000 for the level at which this job has been scoped
Your base pay will depend on several factors, including your experience, qualifications, education, location, and skills
In the event that you are considered for a different level, a higher or lower pay range would apply
