Senior Engineer (Front & Rear Plastics) - eShocan

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and validation of innovative plastic components for our luxury electric vehicle platform. This role requires a deep understanding of plastics engineering, material science, and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and validation of plastic components for front and rear exterior applications, including bumpers, fascias, and other trim elements.
• Conduct material selection, feasibility studies, and concept generation.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
• Perform structural and durability testing to ensure component performance and reliability.
• Optimize plastic components for weight, cost, and manufacturability while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in plastics engineering.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers in their professional development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on plastics component development.
• Strong proficiency in 3D CAD skills, with CATIA V5/V6 or similar software (desired to do it) .
• In-depth knowledge of plastics materials, properties, and processing techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
