In this role you will provide analytics and modeling expertise and guidance to Project Analysts and Design Analysts, and will make sure that the project is technically sound, on schedule, and within cost. You will manage assigned scope(s) of work within project(s) as directed by supervisor. The Senior Analyst will possess the skills required to manage smaller project efforts with reduced guidance and support from Engineering Management and provide technical expertise in applicable analytical and advisory disciplines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop data-driven solutions and recommendations, utilizing simulation, emulation, and analytical models. Select the most appropriate analytical approach for the situation.
- Lead model development, implementation and validation, ensuring the team’s adherence to Haskell’s technical standards and high-quality outcomes.
- Conduct system audits, analyze system dynamics, and use probability and statistics to model problems and develop actionable recommendations.
- Present analytical results and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Mentor and support team members through technical guidance and training while advocating for team needs and supporting diversity.
- Assist in developing and maintaining custom analytics tools, standards, and best practices for existing and new service offerings.
- Support business development by providing technical scope and labor estimates for proposals, presenting analytics capabilities to clients and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Lead assigned projects by coordinating project teams, managing budgets, schedules, and scope changes, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring effective communication.
- Travel is required.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial or Systems preferred), Analytics, Computer Science, or related degree.
- 7-15 years of experience in analytics, modeling, or industrial/systems engineering. Experience in manufacturing is preferred.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications:
- Strong analytical skills including descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics, regression, optimization, machine learning, and/or mathematical programming, etc.
- Experience with at least one general purpose programming language such as C#, Java, or Python.
- Experience with discrete event simulation (e.g., Emulate3D, FlexSim, Simio).
- Proficiency in basic data management skills included data cleansing and transformation.
- Strong probability and statistics skills.
- Ability to select and develop effective data visualization techniques for a given situation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required, with the ability to present to various audience sizes.
- Certification or experience with Lean/Six Sigma concepts is preferred.
- Manufacturing experience is preferred, including mechanical aptitude and knowledge of industrial automation systems and devices.
- Professional certification (e.g. Certified Analytics Professional) is preferred.

Environmental Factors and/or Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, this position is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment and read application/form information. The associate frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear.
