Position Overview
We are looking for a Sr. Engineer to join a collaborative, employee-owned civil engineering firm with a focus on survey and mapping, stormwater management, water quality, and geospatial technology. As a Sr. Engineer, you will work within a culture that values team participation, shared success, and professional growth. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage engineering plans and production processes.
- Perform engineering calculations, solve design challenges, and build knowledge of industry standards and agency requirements for project planning.
- Collaborate effectively within a team while developing independent technical skills and knowledge.
- Execute the duties of Engineer I with added responsibilities, including coordinating with architects, agencies, and clients to ensure alignment on design and production standards.
- Exercise independent judgment in resolving design issues and make key engineering decisions as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 1-2 years of civil engineering design experience.
- EIT certification.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Civil 3D is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- 2-5 years of civil engineering design experience.
- EIT certification required.
- Ability to independently manage engineering tasks, coordinate with stakeholders, and make project decisions.
