Position Overview:
KODA Technologies is looking for a Senior Engineer MDS Architecture Design - Lead! In this role the selected candidate will define and evaluate Missile Defense System Trade capability space envelope, architectural performance metrics, and other high-level performance metrics as applicable.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Performs and records the results of Missile Defense System architecture trade studies as a member of the MDA Architecture Trades Group
- Knowledgeable in C2BMC regarding how it fits in the Command and Control network
- Experience working with Electronic Attack and Electronic Protection
- Supports the development of Initial Requirements Documents, Architecture Requirements Packages, and other systems engineering artifacts related to the Missile Defense System
- Helps develop alternative architecture concepts to address capability gaps, real-world threats, and intelligence community threat estimates
- Supports the MDA/CA M&S Working Group, develops and delivers briefings on trade study efforts, and reviews work products from other Working Group members
- Engages with FFDRCs, UARCs, National Labs, and Service Labs to develop Missile Defense System-level and Element-levelM&S tools to asses capabilities and performance
- Assists the Architecture Trade Studies Division Chief in defining trade study methods, measures, and deliverables
- Supports activities of the Architecture Working Group; develops briefings addressing trade study efforts; reviews work products developed by other Working Group members
- Coordinates trade study-related activities and work products with teammates across the Architecture Design Directorate (MDA/CAD) and external MDA stakeholders
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Master's degree in STEM and 12+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of Electronic Attack and Electronic Protection
- Knowledge of the Missile Defense System, including Command and Control networks (C2BMC and LINK 16)
- Ability to accomplish duties with minimal guidance
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
- Knowledge of Hypersonic weapons
- Proficient in Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
