Senior Engineer - Relevante

Salary: $ 160, 000.00

We have partnered with a financial company in the New York, NY area to provide them with a Senior Engineer. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.

This position is for a VP level candidate.

Prioritized must haves for the Senior Engineer:

#1. 7+ years of experience as a Windows System Administrator and/or Engineer.

#2. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, and Active Directory.

#3. Advanced Knowledge of VMware ESX/ vSphere 7.0 or higher.

#4. Advanced knowledge of VMware Horizon VDI solutions

#5. Advanced Knowledge of Amazon AWS Cloud Services (EC2, S3, CloudTrail, ,etc.) and migration of on-premise workloads to Cloud.

#6. Advanced knowledge of SAN systems such as Pure Storage and NetApp

#7. Knowledge of HP Tandem Nonstop System.

#8. Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Online.

#9. Knowledge of networking and protocols.

#10. Experience with data center infrastructure and disaster recovery planning.

Requirements of a Senior Engineer:

• Over 7 years of experience as a Windows System Administrator or Engineer.
• In-depth expertise with Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022, as well as Active Directory.
• Proficient in VMware ESX/vSphere 7.0 or later.
• Extensive experience with VMware Horizon VDI solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of Amazon AWS Cloud Services (such as EC2, S3, CloudTrail) and experience with migrating on-premise workloads to the cloud.
• Proficient in managing SAN systems, including Pure Storage and NetApp.
• Familiarity with HP Tandem Nonstop Systems.
• Understanding of Microsoft Exchange Online.
• Knowledgeable in networking and related protocols.
• Experience with data center infrastructure and planning for disaster recovery.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Project management skills are desirable.

Other Key Requirements:

• In office role. (2 days in office / 3 remote)
• No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
