Senior Estimator - Gpac

We are seeking a skilled Estimator with a strong background in construction management to support various projects across multiple sectors. This role involves both negotiated and hard bid estimations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review drawings, specifications, and documents to define project scope.
• Prepare detailed and conceptual estimates, including takeoffs for self-performed trades (e.g., concrete, masonry, steel).
• Utilize software tools like OnCenter, Vico, and Excel for estimating and takeoff processes.
• Collaborate with project teams and external partners to present estimates and manage bid solicitation.
• Mentor junior estimators and oversee their development in estimating practices.
• Maintain client and subcontractor relationships, ensuring smooth communication and prequalification processes.
• Assess project risks and integrate findings into overall cost management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 10 years of estimating experience with familiarity in both GMP and lump sum projects.
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools, including BIM applications.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Working Conditions:

• Office environment with potential overtime and weekend work. Ability to remain stationary for extended periods and occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds.
