The Contractor Consultants is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator with a Master Electrician License for the State of Texas to join our team. - Prepare Detailed Estimates: Develop accurate cost estimates for electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance projects, ensuring alignment with project specifications and timelines.
- Project Analysis: Review project drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure a thorough understanding of project requirements.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to gather insights, verify project scope, and address any discrepancies in project details.
- Vendor and Supplier Coordination: Source materials and equipment, obtaining competitive pricing and ensuring estimates reflect current market rates.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate project risks, proposing solutions to mitigate potential budget impacts or project delays.
- Bid Preparation: Prepare and submit formal bids, proposals, and RFP responses with supporting documentation and breakdowns.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry standards, electrical codes, and construction methodologies to enhance estimation accuracy and project success.
- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years in electrical estimating, specifically within industrial or manufacturing sectors.
- Certification: Must hold a Master Electrician License for the State of Texas.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations, with experience in software for cost estimation.
- Analytical Skills: High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions, team collaboration, and project documentation.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple estimates and meet deadlines effectively.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with vendor pricing, labor rates, and industry best practices in electrical installations and repairs.
