Our client, an international engineering firm with a reputation for excellence, is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator with heavy civil project experience to join their team in the Caribbean. As a Senior Estimator, you will play a key role in developing detailed estimates for large-scale infrastructure projects, working closely with project teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and strategic pricing. You’ll be a critical part of shaping these monumental projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and manage cost estimates for heavy civil projects, including roads, bridges, water treatment facilities, and other infrastructure.

- Collaborate with engineering, project management, and procurement teams to develop and refine project budgets.

- Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and other documents to understand the scope of work and required resources.

- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs, cost analysis, and risk assessments.

- Present estimates to clients and stakeholders, providing insight into cost and timeline implications.

- Maintain updated cost databases and documentation to support future estimates.

- Stay informed of industry standards, regulations, and best practices in heavy civil construction.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estimator, specifically with heavy civil projects.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with complex project data.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

- Experience with international projects or working with government clients is a plus.
