About Us:
gpac is representing a leader in heavy civil construction, specializing in earthworks, underground utilities, and site work. We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator/Project Manager to join our team and oversee complex projects from estimation through execution.

Job Description:
The Senior Estimator/Project Manager will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates and managing all phases of heavy civil construction projects. This role requires a deep understanding of earthworks, utilities, and site work, as well as strong leadership skills to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze detailed cost estimates for heavy civil projects, including earthworks, underground utilities, and site work.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with engineers, clients, and subcontractors to clarify project specifications and requirements.
• Oversee the bidding process, including the evaluation of subcontractor proposals.
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed to stay on schedule and within budget.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals and presentations for potential projects.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in estimating and managing heavy civil construction projects.
• Strong background in earthworks, underground utilities, and site work construction.
• Experience with FDOT projects and asphalt/paving/roadway construction is highly preferred.
• Proficient in estimating software and project management tools.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
