We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Event Security Specialist to join our elite security team. This role is tailored for professionals with a proven background in event security management, specializing in ensuring the safety of high-profile events and clients through comprehensive, unarmed security strategies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of security operations at major events, using proactive security measures to prevent risks and ensure seamless protection. You will maintain the highest level of professionalism, confidentiality, and dedication to client satisfaction, ensuring the success of each event.
- Security Operations: Support and contribute to the management of security activities, including overseeing entry and exit points, controlling access to secure areas, and maintaining a strong security presence during large-scale, high-profile events and at estates for high-net-worth individuals (HNI) and organizations.
- Security Sweeps and Patrols: Participate in comprehensive and regular security sweeps, working to identify and mitigate potential threats to ensure a safe environment during events and on estate properties.
- Incident Response: Act swiftly and efficiently in response to any security incidents, ensuring the safety of all attendees, staff, and residents, whether at an event or on a private estate.
- Coordination and Communication: Collaborate closely with event staff and estate personnel and maintain clear, consistent communication within the security team and with law enforcement as needed to ensure seamless operations.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, including health and safety regulations, while accurately documenting and communicating all security activities and incidents, both at events and within estate environments.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in event security, executive protection, law enforcement, or military service, with a focus on managing events.
- Proven track record of successfully leading security teams at large-scale events, such as corporate functions, entertainment venues, or public gatherings.
- BSIS Guard Card (required).
- Crowd Control Certification (preferred).
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certification for Adult, Child and Infant (required).
- Demonstrated leadership experience in managing security teams and coordinating with external agencies (e.g., local law enforcement, emergency responders).
- Ability to train, mentor, and oversee junior security personnel to ensure effective security operations.
- Familiarity with CCTV, surveillance systems, access control systems, and security technology used at large venues or events.
- Experience with venue and security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing strategies to mitigate risks.
- Expertise in risk assessment, threat analysis, and the ability to develop security plans that mitigate potential risks.
- Ability to remain calm and make quick, decisive decisions in high-pressure or emergency situations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with event organizers, high-profile clients, and security teams.
- Ability to prepare and present security briefings to clients and internal teams.
- High level of physical fitness to handle the demands of active security work, including standing for long periods and responding quickly to emergencies.
- Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills, with a focus on maintaining a safe and secure environment without the use of force.
- Experience working with VIPs or high-profile individuals, ensuring their safety while maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion.
- Flexibility to travel as needed for assignments at various event locations, potentially requiring overnight or weekend availability.
- Agents receive a competitive base rate as the minimum pay for any assignment. However, compensation may be higher depending on the specific requirements of the assignment and the unique needs of the client.
