Infrastructure, Planning & Delivery (CISPD) finance team is an exciting and fast-evolving finance team at the forefront of Microsoft’s Cloud-first strategy.
The CISPD finance team is responsible for supporting delivering cloud capacity at the right time, right place and right cost. We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager - Cloud & AI Cost Management to manage all of our central functions such as close, forecast, budgeting, long-range planning, and Capital expenditure approval process.
Qualifications
Minimum / Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, finance, or related field
- OR Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, finance, or related field
- OR equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally across teams and at all levels.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and bring clarity to complex situations.
- Experience in process improvement / optimization is preferred
Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.

• Spearhead our central close, forecasting, budget, and long-range planning functions across CISPD and orchestrate more broadly across the finance organization
• Enhance the capital request processes to support our growing Cloud business
• Partner with engineering leaders on capital investments
• Be a cultural champion for inclusion, growth mindsets, and establish culture and norms that support consistent quality employee and partner experiences.
