Controls Optimization & Management, Process Automation, and Solutions Support (COMPASS) is seeking a Financial Analyst to support Worldwide Stores controllership. Our top priority is controllership. We are looking for a leader that will drive change across the organization, stay ahead of operational risks, and strengthen our control environment.
You will be eager to dive deep into processes, eliminate inefficiencies, problem solve and protect the integrity of our financial results.
Key job responsibilities
- Support projects to enhance WW Amazon Stores controllership processes related to owned and lease asset management and tracking.
- Partner with related finance and business teams to mitigate identified controls risks
- Track controls defects, partner with business teams to deep dive defects and proffer solutions to close identified gaps
- Drive controllership in WW Amazon Stores processes, partner with process excellence team to minimize process inefficiencies and improve data integrity
- Drive continuous improvement and communication with business partners
- Communicate Project status to stakeholders and drive project deliverables to completion
- Drive consumer leadership team controllership goals across the organization
- Diving deep to understand fixed asset tracking systems to improve the controls environment
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
