S³ Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Business Operations team at our corporate HQ in Cummings Research Park, Huntsville, AL, reporting to the CFO. This is not a teleworking position. Duty site is 615 Discovery Drive, Huntsville, Al 35806.

This position warrants a $5,000.00 Hire-In Bonus, payable upon successful completion of a 90 day probationary period of performance.
Description:
- Responsible for financial functions such as budgeting, auditing, forecasting, and analysis.
- Supports Program Managers with rate and budget analysis, financial reports, planning, allocation of contract resources within contract limits.
- Ensures compliance with internal procedures, DAR/FAR government regulations, Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR), and CAS compliance.
- Is primary liaison between the company and various government agencies during audits, ensuring understanding of financial data, methodology and, applicability under appropriate government regulations, and CAS compliance.
- May be responsible for the employment, training, motivation and discipline of direct reports.
- This is an on-site role. No hybrid/remote options are available.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field, CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 16 years of experience in financial analysis including supervision/management experience and a working knowledge of DAR/FAR.
- Expert-level mastery of Deltek Costpoint. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience, including multi-company Costpoint experience.
- Mastery of Microsoft Office suite.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst for a federal contractor.
- Professional-level knowledge of GAAP, DCAA, CAS/CASB principles.
- Professional-level knowledge of Finance, Planning, Analysis, Reconciliations, and Consolidations.
- Experience working with government contracts in a finance capacity for at least 8 years.
- Experience preparing and submitting an ICE (Incurred Cost Submissions) for a company with greater than $50M in revenue.
- Experience working with different corporate rate structures, such as forward pricing rates, burden rates, and provisional billing rates?
- Experience preparing and briefing corporate financial statements, including PL, BS, CF, Ratios, AP, AR, and financial covenants.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience reconciling GL accounts and preparing the necessary adjusting journal entries in Costpoint.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Quickbooks.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working with corporate subsidiaries
