The Senior Financial Analyst will work with teams across Holland America Line, with our office Seattle, WA, we’re looking for amazing humans across the country for this role. Holland America Line offers strong compensation and outstanding benefits including cruise travel.

Responsibilities
•Perform required monthly financial close activities including reviewing and creating ledger entries ensuring accuracy and compliance.
•Conducts key qualitative and quantitative financial analysis; documents complex financial and plan analysis; prepares and maintains financial modeling required for strategic and financial planning.
•Assists as needed in the consolidation and analysis of the monthly and quarterly forecasts, analyzing actual results and forecasts against plan, prior forecast and prior year and works with operations to understand the business drivers of financial variances.
•Supports the annual strategic/business planning process by providing analysis on the financial impact of key trends, alternatives and interpretation of cost and profit.
•Provide senior management and the operations team with in-depth financial analysis of actual spend to drive insights on trends, investment areas and opportunities to optimize costs driving better decision making.
Requirements
•Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field or equivalent work experience.
•Three or more years of Finance/Accounting experience.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a “non-finance” audience through senior leadership.
•Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Experience developing, evaluating and improving complex financial models and processes.
•Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
•Proficiency in financial software and systems including Oracle and Hyperion Planning.
•Ability to develop, communicate, and facilitate budget and forecast processes.
