CleanChoice Energy, a national renewable energy provider and developer that empowers people to change the world with how they power their lives, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Finance department. This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing company with a mission to make clean energy feel easy and rewarding, by growing the movement for clean energy and building clean power plants like solar.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for continuous development and maintenance of long-range planning financial model for all of the business segments and the company as a whole. Work closely with business segment owners to develop and update set of inputs.
- Work closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis team to ensure that pro forma development and financial modeling reflect the current operating plan and results.
- Support capital raising initiatives by producing pro forma financials including EBITDA, balance sheet and cash flow projections. Produce other materials as needed – CIMs, PowerPoints, etc.
- Able to interact with counterparties such as lenders, corporate parent and others to support data requests in conjunction with financial processes.
- Provide ad hoc modeling and financial analysis support to other areas of the business.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related subject. Additional credentials including a Master's degree, CFA or CPA is desired.
- Two years of professional experience, preferably in a private equity or an investment banking environment.
- Previous financial modeling experience using Excel including education in a structured approach such as Training the Street or similar modeling approaches.
- Familiar with concepts of renewable energy finance including tax equity, project finance, development cycles and HLBV accounting.
- Highly analytical.
- Highly detail oriented.
- Able to coordinate efficiently across the business and with outside parties. Able to be effective with people at varying levels of experience.
- Previous transaction experience on either the buy or sell side.
- Previous private equity or investment banking experience preferred.

Compensation
This position offers a base salary range of $125,000 - $135,000, an incentive plan, and a robust benefits package.
