Maxar is currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst, International
Government located in Westminster, CO in a hybrid work environment (in
home/in office). This role will serve as a key member of the International
Government finance team in support of the global public sector business.
Reporting to the segment CFO, this position will be responsible for
delivering value-added business analysis as well as defining and reporting
meaningful financial and operational metrics that lead to insightful,
accurate business decisions.
Responsibilities
Develop and monitor the annual budget and monthly revenue and expense
forecasts.
Prepare monthly and quarterly budget versus actual variance analysis and
continuously drive forecast accuracy improvements.
Support monthly and quarterly internal and external reporting, including
internal monthly business reviews and earnings call support information.
Continuously develop systems and processes. Evaluate current processes,
identify best practices, develop plans to reach goals and implement
improvements.
Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and
assignments as they are identified and to assist with various ad hoc projects
as needed.
Prepare periodic and ad hoc financial models, forecasts, reports and
analyses, as needed
Minimum Requirements for this position:
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or accounting preferred. Four
additional years of work experience may be substituted for a degree.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, including forecasting and
budgeting experience.
These skills would be amazing:
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a strong attention
to detail.
Ability to work independently, be a self-starter and thrive in a
fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Accounting experience/knowledge a plus.
Experience with SAP and Salesforce a plus.
Ability to provide insightful financial analysis to support better business
decisions.
Proactive with an aptitude for process improvement.
Ability to build strong working relationships and to collaborate with all
levels of management.

hire may have a different range. To accommodate all locations, we have
listed the bottom to the top of the possible range, and will share the

Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidates unique set of
knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential
commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:$66,000.00
- $141,000.00 annually.
