We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Foreclosure Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in foreclosure and real estate law, with a specific focus on title review, purchase agreements, private lending, and deal structuring. This role requires a minimum of five years of experience in the legal industry and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Review and analyze a high volume of residential and commercial foreclosure files.
2. Conduct thorough title reviews, and handle any issues or discrepancies that arise.
3. Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, ensuring all documents are legally sound and in the best interest of the client.
4. Work closely with private lenders, managing all legal aspects of private lending transactions.
5. Structure deals effectively, taking into account legal, financial, and business considerations.
6. Conduct legal research and provide legal advice on foreclosure and real estate matters.
7. Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders to manage foreclosure proceedings efficiently and effectively.
8. Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and affidavits.
9. Maintain strict confidentiality of client information and adhere to all ethical standards of the legal profession.
10. Keep up-to-date with changes in foreclosure and real estate law, ensuring all work is compliant with current laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of five years of experience as a paralegal in the legal industry, with a strong focus on foreclosure and real estate law.
2. Proven experience in title review, purchase agreements, private lending, and deal structuring.
3. Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field. A paralegal certification is highly desirable.
4. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
5. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle complex transactions with minimal supervision.
6. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of files and meet tight deadlines.
7. Proficient in legal research tools and software.
8. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders.
9. High ethical standards and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
10. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide practical legal solutions.
