Senior Front-End Developer - Aptean

We’re looking for a Senior Front-End Developer for our office in Alpharetta, GA. The position is full-time. You’ll join an awesome team to support our growing customer base.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Front-End Developer with expertise in React, TypeScript, and Node.js to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing and building intuitive, high-performance, and responsive web applications. In this role, you will collaborate closely with back-end developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to bring our product vision to life.

While the focus of this role is front-end development, familiarity with backend technologies such as Python, .NET, or Java is strongly preferred. This knowledge will help you work more effectively with the full stack and streamline collaboration with our backend team.

Key Respnsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of user-facing features using React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
• Optimize components for maximum performance across a wide range of web-capable devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure technical feasibility of designs.
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Work closely with the backend team to ensure seamless data flow and interaction between the frontend and backend.
• Participate in code reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback to improve code quality.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to team development best practices.
• Ensure best practices in front-end development, including performance optimization, security, and accessibility.

About you:

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of front-end development experience.
• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API).
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with modern web build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel, ESLint).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with Git version control.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with backend technologies such as Python, .NET, or Java is a strong plus.
• Experience with server-side rendering and Next.js.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and tools like Jira.
