About the Job
As a Senior Front-End Engineer you will work on building the user interface for a SaaS based application supporting a growing customer base. You will work in a cross functional team with experienced product managers, full stack and backend engineers in a distributed micro services architecture.
Essential Responsibilities:
Design and develop features for a responsive web application using React and Angular, ensuring high performance and a polished user experience across multiple devices.
Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and back-end developers to design and implement cutting-edge user interfaces that meet business requirements. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize user interface of web applications for performance and scale.
Adopt a quality first mindset in developing high quality code with appropriate unit and integration tests, following best practices in front end development.
Work as an escalation point to troubleshoot user interface related production issues.
Keep technical debt low by reinforcing our Engineering culture of code reviews, solid test coverage, and documentation.
Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
Highly proficient in one or more prominent programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript and ReactJS and proficient in Angular with 3+ years of experience with any one major Javascript framework like ReactJS, AngularJS, VueJS, or equivalent
Highly skilled in HTML/CSS and other web technologies
Experience integrating with REST APIs
Familiarity in working with asynchronous APIs
Experience with front-end testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
Experience with responsive design and front-end performance optimization techniques
Solid understanding of frontend build tools, such as Webpack, Babel, and npm/yarn
Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
