Senior Front-End Full Stack Engineer - Fidelity TalentSource LLC

In the Fidelity Brokerage Technology group, we will welcome you onto an agile track that is at the forefront of engineering in Capital Markets and Brokerage Technology with a high level of focus on TDD, Continuous Integration/Delivery and engineering best practices. We want to work with an engineer who is versatile, always eager to take on new problems and share solutions as we push the technology forward. Working independently as well as collaboratively, it is important for this person to have a positive approach to leadership, collaboration, and a drive to deliver groundbreaking solutions on a daily basis.

• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience in application development with demonstrated proficiency, high quality, and a passion for writing code
• Expert knowledge of technical analysis and design principles for building scalable applications
• Development experience with TypeScript, Node.js, HTML/CSS, Java, SQL.
• Proficient in designing Rest API's with Java and data modeling
• Development experience with web application frameworks (Angular 2+, React, Vue.js), Spring Boot, Production experience with Kubernetes and Serverless on AWS
• Experience with unit testing and test automation libraries/strategies.
• Leadership to guide, encourage, and motivate your fellow engineers.
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum development environment.
• Previous exposure to trading systems or brokerage technology is strongly preferred
• Having excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to run with multiple tasks at a given time

• Collaborating with colleagues on technical implementation and process improvement.
• Able to clearly present sophisticated technical solutions, ideas, and plans to senior management, business partners, and less technical team members as needed
• Building positive relationships within and across teams.
• Deliver high quality, timely, cost effective and maintainable software solutions in an agile environment to meet functional and non-functional business requirements
• Actively contribute to the design and implementation of engineering practices such as code and design reviews, cloud strategy, and build and deployment pipelines
• Mentor and be mentored by your team members and partners

At Fidelity TalentSource, our goal is for most people to work flexibly in a way that balances both personal and business needs with time onsite and offsite through what we call “Dynamic Working.” Most associates will have a hybrid schedule with a requirement to work onsite at a Fidelity location for at least one week, 5 consecutive days, every four weeks. These requirements are subject to change.
