Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Healthcare Associate to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment where you play a critical role in managing and resolving complex hospital revenue cycle issues. In this role, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to hospitals and managed healthcare providers. Confidence and strong negotiation skills are a must!
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel to hospital clients, helping them to identify and address potential legal issues and risks.
- Support the resolution of complex litigation matters related to the revenue cycle, including claim denials and disputes with insurers and payors.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop and implement strategies for improving the revenue cycle and maximizing reimbursement.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Must be a licensed attorney in good standing in California.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the legal industry, which must include litigation experience
- Prior healthcare law experience
- Demonstrated contract review and negotiation skills
