The Work You'll Do:
The Senior Human Resource Generalist provides HR services and operational support to the Managers and Employees of the assigned site or region. The role handles all aspects of the employee life cycle from onboarding to departure as well as supporting the daily employee relations, benefits, and payroll needs of employees. The Senior Human Resource Generalist reports to the HR Manager.
What are my responsibilities going to be:

Conduct New Hire Orientation and employee onboarding

Act as primary point of contact for employees in the local office on various cultural, benefits, payroll, and other HR process/programs questions

Conduct entrance and exit interviews and identify trends and possible remedial actions

Support local site recruiting efforts externally and coordinate all internal promotional processes

Administer Leaves of Absence processes with employees

Manage and support internal communications
-
Promote and coordinate the CLOUD rotation program for the local office

Support and implement various Human Resource practices and processes

Maintain employee files and paperwork both electronically and physically

Coordinate company events for the local office

Assist with contractors and temporary employees’ contracts, background checks, and onboarding

Facilitate the Summer Internship Program

Provide consultation on employee relations issues and investigations
-
Help resolve issues in a fair and timely manner to ensure appropriate next steps and outcomes are reached

Partner with global HR team members to support and champion positive employee relations through effective communication, policies, and practices

Manage local site administration including front desk coverage, company mail, and other responsibilities as needed

Manage and execute successful rollout of site programs such as Wellness, Community Investment and other events to drive employee engagement

Partner with functional HR team members to manage employment metrics and drive business strategy
What We Need From You:
- Minimum of 3+ years’ of professional Human Resources generalist experience
- Demonstrated experience in all HR functions: recruitment, employee engagement, career development, talent management, compensation, performance management, employment law, and employee relations.
- Experience in HR administration such as policy interpretation, employee record/file keeping, and compliance
- Well-developed business ethics and the ability to maintain a high level of discretion
- Ability to build relationships with and influence all levels of employees including leadership level of organisation
- Very strong interpersonal and written communication skills – ability to initiate and engage in conversations about difficult or sensitive topics
- Ability to be strategic towards business outcomes as well as manage and handle day-to-day details and deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple priorities (at times conflicting), remain focused under pressure and work extended hours as required
