About the Job
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior HR Generalist at K-Tube Technologies. The Senior HR Generalist supports the organization by implementing and administering human resources programs and policies. Provides human resources services, which may include recruiting and staffing, onboarding, training, employee relations and the administration of LOAs, benefits and workers’ compensation programs.
Pay Range - $85,000 - $95,000 per annum
Responsibilities:Duties and Responsibilities
Benefits Administration
- Provides day-to-day benefits administration services. Assist employees with any claim issues.
- Reviews and approves disbursements for medical premiums and other related benefit invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Develops and schedules benefits orientations, open enrollment meetings and other benefits training.
Workers’ Comp & Leaves Compensation
- Administers disability and workers’ compensation claims. Tracks and submits required data and files reports as necessary.
- Liaison with Cook on WC claims review and management, manages relationship with WC clinics
- Administers the company’s LOA programs. Tracks and submits required data and files reports as necessary.
- Liaison with Cook on LOA software implementations, tests and reports issues as necessary
- Prepares LOA/WC report for payroll regarding attendance for biweekly payroll processing
Recruitment
- Manages the recruitment process for all temporary and non-exempt positions using standard recruitment and hiring practices.
- Reviews resumes for all candidates and interviews candidates for employment.
- Point of contact for leased employee agencies, communicates with temp agencies as necessary
- Enlists new temporary agencies as needed, negotiates terms and conditions of agency temp-to-hire mark up rates.
Employee Relations
- Participates in investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forth.
- Advises managers and supervisors about the steps in the progressive discipline system.
- Oversees the termination process, ensuring proper documentation and timely payment, conducts termination meetings.
- Assists with employee event planning, operating within an approved budget.
Training & Onboarding
- Assists with in-house employee training including new and temporary employee orientation and onboarding.
- Develops and delivers training pertaining to New Hire Orientation, Workers’ Compensation, Reasonable Suspicion and other topics as assigned.
Compliance
- Record retention coordinator for the department ensuring records are destroyed as per retention schedules.
- Complies with all existing state and federal government reporting requirements including any related to the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA), the Department of Labor, workers compensation, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and so forth.
- Compiles, maintains and reports human resource records, systems, and statistics for government agencies.
- Assists with the implementation and administration of HR programs, procedures, and guidelines.
Assumes other responsibilities as assigned by the Human Resources Manager.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or comparable experience.
- 7 + years of relevant experience in Human Resources
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) required
- Familiar with current standard concepts, practices and procedures within the HR field
- Experience with HRIS and payroll systems
- Dayforce experience, preferred

- Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Power Point
- Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
- Minimal physical effort required
- Regularly required to sit or stand, reach and move about the facility
Work Environment
- Work performed in an office environment, but may require visits to the manufacturing floor
- Minimal exposure to metals, lubricants, solvents and electrolyte
- Professional environment requiring business casual attire
