Senior HR Systems Specialist (Contract-to-hire)
You are a Senior HR Systems Specialist in a senior role managing security, configuration, and maintenance of the organization’s HR systems. This role is responsible for processing the full Employee Lifecycle from Onboarding to Offboarding and manages auditing and report development to support the organization. As a member of the HR Team, you will work on projects directed from the HRIS Manager. The role will partner with the HRIS Manager, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisitions, HR Operations and Benefits team members to ensure excellent customer service is provided from the HR department.
This position pays: $50 to $55 per hour
Location: Emeryville, CA - Hybrid
What you will be doing:
- Work extensively with the HRIS Manager to understand the HRIS UKG system, the Learning Management System and collaborate on special projects
- Provide HR support to include processing new hires, transfers, terminations, and reporting
- Research and resolve issues and recommends process improvements
- Address department and end-user needs and requirements
- Proactively collaborate with the HR Team on special projects
- Administrative support including completion of disability claims, unemployment claims, monthly anniversary program gift distribution and department mail distribution
- Maintain HRIS tables in UKG directed from the HRIS Manager
- Run periodic audits for data integrity
- Assist with testing new system setup and events such as employee data migrations, performance reviews, benefits open enrollment and learning management assignments
- Manage the HR support email, triage and comply with internal service level agreement
- Assist with HR Systems program documentation
- Assist with employees’ account issues
- Provide UKG UTM (Time Management) assistance
- Assist the HRIS Manager during SOX reviews and internal audits
- Skillsoft (eLearning) Administrator
- Manage required posting boards for all GO employee locations
- Working knowledge of Human Resources practices/procedures
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- 4+ years Human Resource experience
- Working knowledge of HRIS platforms (previous experience with Ultimate Software systems a definite plus), including systems related to employee systems of record, benefits, payroll, compensation, performance management, talent acquisition, and learning management
- Ability to utilize an HRIS system to run and modify standard reports
- Ability to manage multiple projects through ambiguity and competing priorities
- Ability to research issues and provide guidance or recommendations to ensure employee concerns are addressed
- Excellent attention to details and accuracy of data
- Some payroll knowledge is helpful
- Must be able to handle all HR/Payroll related information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Asks the appropriate questions to identify the needs and expectations of others
