About the Role
The Senior HRIS Manager is an integral member of the people team and is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and roadmap for the Packsize HRIS. The role functions within HR, reporting to the Senior Director, HR Operations. Though operating within HR, the role must partner with Information Systems and broad technology architecture. This position is a true player/coach hybrid necessitating an individual with both operational and strategic HRIS experience. The ideal candidate will own the direction and strategy for the HRIS and be responsible for daily maintenance and upkeep. This role offers an opportunity to be a key leader on the HRIS implementation project team, where the role will assist with making configuration, design, and integration decisions.
What You'll Do

Own the daily operation, maintenance, and support for HRIS

Develop and implement an HRIS strategy aligned with organizational, HR, and IT/IS goals

Work across the HR team (e.g., HR Operations, Recruiting, Benefits, Talent, Compensation) to prioritize and enable system enhancements

Partner with IT, Information Systems, and Information Security to integrate HRIS within Packsize’s broader technology architecture and strategy

Establish practices and processes to ensure data integrity

Manage internal tickets as needed, including providing user support, developing training materials, and maintaining system documentation

Own hands-on work in the system, including managing system upgrades, patches, enhancements, integrations, and testing, as well as change management for system modifications

Develop change management
What You'll Bring
-
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of technical experience in at least 3 of the following Workday modules (Core HCM, Absence, Benefits, Time Tracking, Payroll, Recruiting, Talent)

Transformational HR experience and an understanding of change management fundamentals

Experience designing, building, and maintaining systems that span across multiple teams and geographies.

Strong understanding of HR best practices and the legal requirements specific to North America and Europe

Ability to explain HR & HCM concepts to those less knowledgeable

Ability to translate business objectives into technical and business HRIS requirements.

Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Can quickly establish rapport and work with individuals from different backgrounds and cultures

Practical experience using multiple project management methodologies

Excellent leadership skills and ability to solve problems proactively.

What We Offer
The salary range for this role is $125,000-170,000 USD per year; however, Packsize considers several factors when determining compensation when extending a job offer, including but not limited to, the role being offered, the associated responsibilities, the candidate's prior work experience, education/training, and any special skills.
