EHR Services has partnered with Covaris, LLC to hire a Senior HR Generalist.
The Senior HR Generalist will oversee the daily operations of the Human Resources department. This role is crucial in supporting the overall organizational strategy by ensuring effective HR management and compliance. The successful candidate is a collaborative team member who will continually strive to move the organization's talent forward. This role will partner with the organization to establish a vision of customer service excellence and continuous improvement. The Senior HR Generalist will report directly to the CEO.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
- Fosters better & more frequent communication throughout the organization.
- Collaborates with HR colleagues on cross-functional initiatives to help implement new HR programs, processes, and policies.
- Assists managers with recruiting, interviewing, screening, selecting, and hiring qualified employees to fill vacant positions.
- Organize, maintain and update employee information as needed.
- Provides exceptional customer service concerning day-to-day HR opportunities and inquiries on policies, procedures, and processes.
- Conduct employee on-boarding and help organize training & development initiatives
- Ensures facility complies with labor regulations (federal, state, and local).
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze exit survey data to identify trends for business leaders to take action on.
- Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in the department's efficiency and services.
- Assist with all internal and external HR-related matters.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports as needed.
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll.
- Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
- Process payrolls for all employees domestic and international; coordinating partner benefits; resolving partner payroll, health, and welfare issues; serving as a resource to the field; and providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers
- Advise and counsel employees on benefits and payroll related issues timely and accurately
- Answer benefit eligibility and payroll questions and research/resolve issues for all partners
- Communicate with vendors to ensure partners concerns/complaints are resolved in a timely and equitable manner
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Associate's degree required, bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant HR experience.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage conflicting priorities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Self-directed and motivated.
- Ability to develop strong, trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results.
