About the Job
The core responsibilities encompass overseeing the day-to-day operations of human resources operations, providing direction on learning and development programs, guiding recruitment and total rewards strategies, and enhancing processes to increase the efficiency of HR activities and reporting. Furthermore, the individual will be tasked with monitoring the company's policies to ensure compliance with state and federal laws and identifying areas for improvement.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Director of Human Resources to develop HR strategies that support the organization's goals, focusing on talent management and rewards, succession planning, and workforce development.
- Continue to develop policies, programs, and practices that promote a high-performance culture, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
- Combine strategic planning and hands-on management to ensure alignment of HR functions with business objectives.
- Supervise HR Managers who oversee functional areas such as Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Employee Benefits, and HRIS/Compensation Administration.
- Set clear objectives for the HR functional areas and effectively monitor their progress.
- Suggest new tools for the HR department to address needs.
- Oversee processes and programs that support employees and company operations.
- Create a rewarding and inclusive work environment where employees feel valued and motivated.
- Improve and utilize data to inform decision-making to measure the impact of HR initiatives on organizational performance.
- Monitor expenditures, implement new HR policies, and collaboratively develop employee programs.
- Maintain a broad and current knowledge and expertise in federal and state employment laws.
- Collaborate to plan effective employee benefits programs and develop progressive compensation and benefits strategies.
- Develop human resource planning models to identify competency, knowledge, and talent gaps.
- Establish credibility throughout the organization by effective listening and problem-solving.
- Lead internal communications on HR matters.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration Management, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in a multi-faceted Human Resources role, preferably in the AE industry.
- Proven leadership in a fast-growing business environment.
- Strong HR expertise and the ability to navigate and manage change effectively.
- Strong emotional intelligence (EQ) and understanding of people.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Successful strategy building for reward/benefits/progression/L&D systems/programs.
- HR certification preferred.
