Salary/Hourly Rate:
$85k – $95k
Position Overview:
The Senior Implementation Manager is responsible for assisting the Implementation team in all phases of the client’s benefit implementation process, from sale to delivery. This role is instrumental in ensuring a smooth transition from sales to implementation and from implementation to relationship management. The Senior Implementation Manager will deliver high-quality implementation experiences for multiple clients within specified timelines and defined scopes.
Responsibilities of the Senior Implementation Manager:
- Align with company culture, purpose, and quarterly goals while consistently achieving targets and embodying company values.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and training to Implementation Specialists.
- Configure administration systems according to implementation intake documentation.
- Facilitate the collection of plan setup data and information from client and broker contacts.
- Apply project management best practices to accurately track timelines and implementation tasks throughout the process.
- Partner with clients during implementation, conducting kickoff calls and regular progress reports at key milestones to ensure a healthy relationship and smooth handoff to the assigned Relationship Manager.
- Document information and special processes for each client to ensure comprehensive knowledge transfer to the broader organization.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and organize recommendations for presentation to the Implementation Manager.
- Facilitate internal communication and rollout of initiatives as approved/assigned.
- Maintain documentation for all processes and make updates promptly.
- Complete special projects during off-cycle implementation times as directed by the Implementation Manager.
Qualifications for the Senior Implementation Manager:
- 3 – 5 years of experience in implementation or a similar role in Third-Party Administration or the healthcare space.
- Current Life and Health license is required.
- Knowledge of the benefits industry, specifically pre-tax benefits and COBRA.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities under time constraints.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Positive attitude and ability to grasp new concepts quickly.
- Initiative to develop solutions prior to escalating issues and willingness to learn new skills.
- Team player who is receptive to coaching and adaptable to change.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to engage professionally with clients and their partners.
- Demonstrated growth mindset and desire to excel and grow each day.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
