About the Job
The Senior Implementation Manager will oversee project planning, execution, and delivery of our client implementations. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure the right resources are engaged and adequately allocated, bringing in SME's as needed. Ensure team is working together collaboratively and efficiently. Facilitate effective communication between team members and stakeholders.
- Phase Definition: Work with client and implementation team to agree on phased project approach with budget, scope and milestones for each phase.
- Project Planning and Timeline Oversight: Design detailed implementation plan tailored to each client's specific needs, goals and timelines. Manage client expectations regarding sprint capacity and communicate with the clients on realistic timelines for enhancements. Drive the timeline by ensuring that internal resources and client resources are able to meet deadlines.
- Process Management: High level oversight of ticket management and flow, configuration steps in UAT, client UAT testing, and the process for launching a client in production.
- Expectation Setting: Work with client to clearly communicate timelines, deliverables, and potential risks and challenges in order to manage client expectations effectively.
- Issue Resolution and Risk Management: Proactively identify and resolve any issues that arise during the implementation phase to prevent delays and disruptions. Escalate and mitigate risks.
- Feedback Collection: Gather client and user feedback during the implementation phase to address any concerns and improve the overall experience.
- Visibility: Provide visibility of project status and risks to internal executive team and all project stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices and organizational standards.
- Mentor and support junior implementation managers and other team members.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
- Other responsibilities as assigned to you by the GM of Client Delivery, GM of business line and/or COO.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field; PMP or similar certification preferred.
- 5+ years of implementation management experience, preferably in the mortgage industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
