Description
A Senior Installation Finsher is responsible for the prep, assembly, installation execution, and final completion of signage and decor while providing a safe, efficient, and courteous delivery to our partners. This role requires expertise in planning, staging, purchasing, product installation, layout, multi-step assembly, team member management, customer service, customer sign-off, and timeliness of project completion. This team member will set high standards in helping load and unload items and maintain organization and cleanliness of assigned vehicle and the installation site.
The Sr. Installation Finisher must be able to travel nationally, be DOT certified, and work any shift to satisfy the demand for flexibility of scheduling to ensure operational success. This includes, but is not limited to, day shifts, night shifts and/or weekend shifts. The Sr Finisher is a full-time employee of Rainbow Sign & Design and Decorworx. The Sr Finisher reports to the Install Director.
Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in fabrication, construction, and/or installation
- Skilled in fabrication and installation techniques using a variety of adhesives and hardware
- Working knowledge of current technology and hand/power tools as they relate to install
- Ability to pass background check
- Ability to fulfill physical requirements (lift/move up to 100 lbs or greater) and handle large bulky materials
- Valid DL, clean driving record, and DOT certified
- Must pass drug tests
- Certified on all fabrication and install equipment within 60-days of employment
- Ability to travel nationally
- Ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and weekends
- Flexible with an ever-evolving scope of work
- Ability to read and understand architectural drawings, spec sheets, install layouts, paint plans, and instruction manuals
- Display good understanding of design principles and techniques
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and complete work within defined time frames to meet deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills and a humble, positive attitude
- Must treat team members, partners, and vendors with respect and conduct all business with integrity.
- Ability to mentor and train team members on install techniques and processes
- Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written in English
Primary Responsibilities
- Assemble and install products for all projects and partners within a retail space or job site
- Conduct self professionally while on the job to represent the company in a positive manner
- Maintain regular communication with team members, coordinators, Install Director, and Sales Representatives on projects' status
- Document and maintain accurate information related to project tracking on designated platforms
- Oversee the processes that ensure products are properly assembled per specifications, test for proper functionality, unload and install safely, according to local codes and standards, without damage to product or partner location
- Ensure job site is safe for product installation and free from hazards and obstructions that could endanger team members
- Coordinate internal logistics to ensure equipment, tools, and project-related items arrive on-site in a timely manner
- Correctly interpret design and engineering specs and install the product to the partners' expectations.

- Direct installation activities and team members on job sites to ensure that safety procedures are followed, time commitments are met, and projects are completed to the partner's satisfaction
- Guide and train team members on job site activities, trade skills, processes, and policies
- Identify and resolve any issues in a professional and effective manner to ensure a positive outcome
- Aid in project planning by understanding the wants and needs of our partner and suggesting applications that serve them best
- Conduct and review property damage assessment from partner complaints
- Get partner sign-off on successful project completion
- Maintain inventory needs specific to Install
- When not assigned to an install project, team member must be prepared to work in Manufacturing departments as assigned by the Director, such as Assembly, Wood, Paint, Shipping/Receiving, etc.
- Progressive knowledge of industry materials and their applications
- Participate and engage in company meetings & trainings to help create synergy and a positive work environment, as well as collect information pertinent to projects and installs
