Overview:
DataSoft Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Interface Coordinator - Electrical Engineer/Designer for the SRPPF project. This role involves managing interfaces and overseeing electrical engineering tasks. Preferred location is Houston, but Greenville is also an option. Engineers are preferred, but experienced designers with relevant skills will be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Interface Management:
- Define and manage interaction points between project components.
- Ensure clear communication and resolve conflicts between teams.
- Maintain accurate records of interface agreements and statuses.
- Develop and implement interface management strategies.
- Lead meetings and teleconferences with stakeholders.
- Ensure HSE standards are integrated into project phases.
- Electrical Engineering:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate electrical engineering tasks and multi-discipline projects.
- Prepare and modify electrical design drawings (e.g., single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring layouts).
- Interpret and apply National, State, and Local codes and standards.
- Prepare engineering cost and schedule estimates, and review design calculations and specifications.
- Coordinate with equipment manufacturers and other project teams.
- 10+ years of experience in interface management or electrical engineering, with a track record on large projects.
- Degree in Engineering preferred but not required with relevant experience.
- Proficiency in design, estimating, specification preparation, and construction documents.
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (Federal, State, Local).
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Professional Engineer License preferred but not required.
- PMP certification is recommended.
- Advanced proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software and technical documentation.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and coordination skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to manage complex projects and work in a multi-discipline environment.
- International project experience and diversity/inclusion initiatives are valued.
- Travel required, with mobility greater than 25%.
