Location: This position is hybrid, based in Laurel, MD 20707.
Role:
Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior IT Asset Management Analyst to work with the IT Asset Manager to maintain the HAM Pro/SAM Pro modules, including enhancements, testing, and upgrades. They will also develop internal operating procedures, create asset records for all new purchases, reconcile asset licenses, and prepare reports.
Responsibilities:
Evaluating, developing, and documenting IT hardware and software asset management processes and procedures to increase efficiency, reduce cost and risks associated with the management of IT assets.
Leading projects to implement process, system, and asset management tool improvements.
Maintain policy, process, standards, and procedure documentation.
Monitor ITAM standards control compliance.
Produce System metrics, KPIs, assist producing reports and scorecards to reflect the state of ITAM and the state of IT.
Monitor data quality and coordinate verification activities.
Reconcile software licenses against installed instances to measure and report on software license compliance.
Administer the IT Hardware and Software asset modules in ServiceNow, including implementation, optimization and architecture of the service catalog and associated workflows.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field and four (4) years of relevant experience. 10 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelors degree.
Experience in analyzing IT asset data for cost, risk and compliance.
Experience with managing IT assets through the lifecycle.
Understanding of software licensing and how hardware configurations impact licensing.
Understanding of different software publisher licensing metrics.
Experience with or the ability to learn how to use: Inventory Management Systems, ServiceNow Asset Module, Microsoft SCCM. Experience maintaining an IT Hardware or Software asset repository.
Experience producing reports and presentations.
Two years of experience administering and developing the hardware and software asset module in ServiceNow.
Advanced knowledge of Asset Management best practices
Advanced Excel functionality and data manipulation experience.
Extensive knowledge of asset discovery tools such as SCCM and ServiceNow to extract and analyze asset information.
Experience with ServiceNow Asset Module (HAM/SAM).
Preferred/Nice to Have Skills:
IAITAM Certifications
Certified in ServiceNow Administration and Development
Skilled with ServiceNow development and administration of HAM/SAM modules, ServiceNow Scripting (JavaScript, Glide API) ServiceNow Discovery, ServiceNow Workflows, Integration, Hub/Graph Connectors, Software development lifecycle
Clearance:
The ability to pass a background check is required.
