Job Description SUMMARY: FP&A focuses on the fin activities of the org, such as: controlling its fin resources and ensuring that all fin transactions, systems, and procedures comply with regs, accounting principles, and standards; fin analysis and reporting, taxation, insurance, credit control, AP and AR, inventory and costs control, and budgeting and forecasting; analyzing the org's revenues, liabilities, credit conditions, and other fin indicators to forecast its short, med, and long-term cash flow position; evaluating and recommending investments and other fin instruments to meet cash flow needs; presenting findings and recommendations to top execs; preparing fin reports; ensuring all tax returns, declarations, and other required reports are submitted accurately and timely. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties. * Prepares annual Budget, monthly forecast, and periodically a long range plan * Owns financial models - builds models from scratch, improves existing models * Partners with accounting team to ensure the integrity of the results and submits accruals when needed * Reviews variances against forecast, Budget, and prior year; tells the story about what is going on in the business area. * Prepares value added financial analyses and drives outcomes in business areas * Is the trusted financial partner to multiple business partners * Demonstrates knowledge of proper business practices Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no formal supervisory responsibilities. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in accounting, economics, finance, math or a related field AND * Three (3) years of experience in financial analysis OR * Equivalent combination of education and experience Certificates and Licenses: None required. OTHER REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Experience in Finance (Budgeting, Performance Reporting and financial analysis) * Understanding of accounting processes, procedures and internal controls * Experience working within the IT realm and capital expenditures * Able to work well as part of a team * Possess very good communication skills - written and verbal * Excellent time management and organizational skills * Experience with accounting and finance tools, preferably Net Suite and Hyperion PBCS * Ability to travel 5% of the time * Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word * Ability to clear required background check DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * FA part of an IT organization * OpEx and CapEx reporting WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Stride, Inc. considers a person's education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee's salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position's level and expected contribution, and the employee's benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range. We anticipate the salary range to be $57,384.00 - $98,992.80. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual's compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions.
