Job Summary
Job Responsibilities
- Build and manage a team capable of executing the tactics for Enterprise Network Infrastructure & Operations, and efficiently delivering new networking solutions; Leading teams responsible for servers, storage, database, data centers, Citrix and Office365 platforms.
- Provide a resilient, secure, scalable, and extensible environment for the continuous operation of our global infrastructure & applications which rely upon it, with minimal unplanned downtime.
- Partners with the IT leadership team on the service portfolio and governance required to prioritize resources, including budget.
- Builds successful stakeholder relationships with other leaders by developing a clear understanding of business needs, acting as a trusted advisor, and ensuring cost-effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs.
- Works closely with the Security Operations team to ensure hardening best practices are set and delivered across infrastructure enterprise solutions.
- Manages IT team(s) providing leadership and guidance to individual contributors and potentially supervisor(s)
- Oversees and executes tactical implementation of departmental strategies to achieve goals in alignment with departmental IT strategy
- Accountable for the performance and results of department team
- Provides leadership to managers, supervisors and/or individual contributors
- Accountable for the performance and results of multiple related teams
- Develops departmental plans, including business, production and/or organizational priorities
- Decisions are guided by resource availability and Stewart objectives
- Applies knowledge of key business drivers and the factors that maximize department performance
- Guided by functional or regional business plans, impacts the department results by supporting and funding of projects, products, services and/or technologies
- Identifies and solves complex, operational and organizational problems leveraging resources within or outside the department
- Persuades managers and leaders to take action and/or negotiates with external partners/vendors/customers
- Manages multiple related teams, sets departmental priorities and allocates resources to align with business objectives and annual plan
Education
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred
Experience
- Typically requires 5+ years of service experience in IT Infrastructure Operations and leadership responsibilities, including strategy, budgeting and staffing.
